Uh, yeah! Meat N Nuts should be enjoyed before, after, or during any sport or exercise. If you’re an athlete that absolutely loves Meat N Nuts contact us to become a Scout Ambassador.HOW DOES MEAT N NUTS DIFFER FROM OTHER SNACKS?
Meat N Nuts is a minimally processed snack food, meaning we simply combine dried meats and natural flavors with raw nuts and dried fruits to create a combination high on flavor and low on preservatives. We are troubled by the proliferation of candy bars and potato chips in our vending machines and convenience stores and seek to provide a snack time alternative. Meat N Nuts is health food that tastes like junk food.WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO BUY, GRASS FED OR PASTURE RAISED MEATS?
“Grass Fed” and “Pasture Raised” meats are complimentary terms, but do signify different aspects of beef husbandry. To make the “Grass Fed” claim, beef must have eaten a diet of over 90% grass in its lifetime. Often, to ensure cows are getting an exclusively grass diet, they are raised on open pasture. Pastoral meats are a necessary component of our supply chain because at Meat N Nuts we believe cows should roam open land, forage grass, and moo to their heart’s content! We encourage you to explore GAP rated meat program.WHY DOES YOUR PRODUCT HAVE SO MUCH FAT? I THOUGHT FAT WAS BAD FOR YOU.
Our product gets its fats primarily from our premium raw nuts. These healthy fats (Omega 3, 6 and 9 as well as conjugated linoleic acid) in nuts are extremely beneficial for our complex bodies. Studies conducted over the past decade have shown a diet high in good fats, is resilient and healthy. Find out more info on this topic in our nutritional encampment.DO YOU HAVE ANY SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT AS TO THE BENEFITS OF GRASS FED & PASTURE RAISED ANIMAL PROTEIN?
We’re not the scientists, but significant research, debate, and dialogue is being conducted actively to surmise the mitigated impact of grass fed and pasture raised cattle versus “traditional” feedlot cattle. We invite you to explore this issue yourself - you can find out more within our Meat N Nuts encampments where we strive to provide up to date information on these pressing nutritional and environmental questions.IS MEAT N NUTS A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE?
Absolutely; we believe that Meat N Nuts is a social venture in the most fundamental way. At the core of our business we seek to change the way people think about their food and how it is manufactured. Our mission will only be complete when snacktime is healthier worldwide!HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
We are always looking for exceptional people with a passion for our mission. We have exciting internship opportunities to join Team Meat N Nuts in Philadelphia, New York, and California.
